Tono & Lims - Star Light Series: Regulus

Got this because it's blue, fluorescent, yet dark enough to be generally useful, how could I refuse? It also changes color on different paper. On Iroful it starts blue, then goes teal, then dries more blue. On other paper it's more blue.

Under UV it glows blue, except on Iroful where it's more green again. On other paper where there's more ink, it's more green.

Don't mind the messy dip pen writing.

Photo of two swatch cards and a piece of paper, all with writing samples in the same ink, under natural light. Top left is a col-o-ring swatch card, top right is an Iroful swatch card, bottom center is a Midori note sheet. The col-o-ring swatch card has a large blob of bright medium blue ink and in writing with a stub nib is "Tono & Lims Regulus" followed by "XX" and two curlicues in stub and fine nibs. The Iroful swatch card has a large blob of bright teal-ish ink inside an outline of a paint palette and in writing with a stub nib is "Tono & Lims Regulus" followed by "XX" and two curlicues in stub and fine nibs. The Midori note pad has a writing sample in blue ink reading "Tono & Lims Regulus / Majohn A1"
Same as photo 1, but under UV light. The ink on the Col-o-ring is glowing medium blue but the card itself is also glowing bright light blue. The ink on the Iroful card is glowing bright blue-green, almost teal. The paper has a faint bluish glow. The writing on the Midori sheet is glowing blue, with some darker blue where more ink has shaded. The paper is unchanged.
Close up of the center of photo 1, only showing the ink blobs on both cards and the Midori sample.
Close up of the center of photo 2 (UV light), only showing the ink blobs on both cards and the Midori sample.

Regulus under magnification. The first two are on Col-o-ring and the second two are on Iroful. Quite a stark difference in color between them! I prefer how it looks on the Col-o-ring card more than the Iroful, but the teal-ish color is still pleasant.

Photo of the ink on a col-o-ring card under high magnification. Paper fibers are visible. Most of the image consists of medium blue ink with some areas that are much darker blue and some red near the rough edges.
Photo of the ink on a col-o-ring card under high magnification. Paper fibers are visible. There are lines of medium blue ink that appear to be part of a letter, but it isn't possible to tell which letter. The lines have rough edges.
Photo of the ink on a Iroful card under high magnification. Paper fibers are visible. There are lines of teal ink that appear to be part of a letter, but it isn't possible to tell which letter. The lines have smooth edges.
