Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 24 (final day!) is "Christmas Star", a glistening ink. It is a bright orange with heavy shading, a little orange sheen, and it's crammed full of gold shimmer.

This ink looks fantastic. It's a great shade and the shimmer adds a lot to it. The only downside is it's rather wet and seems to sit on top of the paper and takes *forever* to dry.

Pen is a Jaipur v2 (Orange) EF Ultra-Flex

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 2 which is based on the Hubble space telescope. The ink on the card is a bright orange with heavy shading where more ink has settled. There is a little orange sheen around some edges and in especially heavy areas. There is a lot of gold shimmer, especially in areas with more ink. Upper left is text reading "#24 Christmas Star" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Just to the left side of the middle at the top is a large illustration of the Hubble space telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle right side is text "Hubble Space Telescope NASA" in negative space among scribbled ink. In the middle left is text reading "You are 336.2mi from Earth" in negative space among ink scribbles. In the middle lower left is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Near the center are "Mars" and "Uranus" with circles representing those planets, in more swabbed ink. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a Jaipur v2 fountain pen, with an orange body and cap and an EF Ultra-Flex nib.
Collage of six photos of text on paper. Each photo consists of: - "Christmas Star" written with an EF nib - "Christmas Star" written with a stub nib - A swirl of ink made with a glass dip pen The ink color is the same for all, a bright orange with heavy shading, a little orange sheen, and it's crammed full of gold shimmer. From the top left, the papers are: - Maruman Mnemosyne - Clairefontaine Triomphe - Paperage Notebook - Iroful Notebook - Midori MD Notebook - Tomoe River S Kanso

I had to cut most of the videos down because it takes so long to dry, but it's still fun to see. It's worth the wait!

In this writing sample you can see how the ink sits on the paper and flows around a lot. This contributes to all the shading (and distributing the shimmer particles), but also keeps it flowing very well in a pen.
