The second batch I cleaned the new way went even easier than the first, and these only rested overnight with water in the converter+feed.

Most of these flushed just fine with their own converter and I barely needed the bulb syringe.

Just one more smaller batch of Sharks after this and I'm done with the backlog. I loaded water in those when I finished these up.

Photo of 8 disassembled fountain pens on a paper towel. Each is separated into four pieces and arranged the same way: Nib+Section, Converter, Cap, Body. From left to right the pens are: - Platinum Desk Pen (Red, EF) - Jinhao Shark (White/White, EF) - Jinhao 100/Century (Haibao Blue, Fude) - Jinhao 82 (Clear, Fude) - Parker Vector (Blue, FI) - Parker Vector (Red, M) - Hongdian Black Forest (Black, EF) - Hongdian Purple Forest (Purple, EF)

Most of these are destined for storage for now. The Platinum Desk Pen seals great, but I'm not a fan of the long tail. The Jinhao Century, 82, and Shark all seal well, but I'll keep them empty in case I get new inks I want to try.

These Vectors seal very badly since they are both very old and worn down. The Black/Purple forest pens don't seal all that well, but they're OK in a pinch.
