The Asvine P36 from the Amazon sale showed up. It feels very heavy but it's actually about the same as a VP or VP clone (31g uninked). It's a bit wider around, though, and quite long when posted.

EF is thin and smooth like the V126.

This may well be my last new pen for a while. I have a good variety/sample size of different pens and nibs, now I need to use them all more and narrow down my overall preferences.

Photo of a fountain pen and writing sample on lined paper. The fountain pen has a clear body with titanium accents (section, piston knob, finial, clip, cap ring). The nib appears to be steel with an engraved design of a fancy "E" for "EF" and "Asvine" underneath. There are some curlicue designs around the edge of the nib. The writing sample is in purple ink and reads: Asvine P36 Titanium EF Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo Pack my box full of five dozen liquor jugs.
Magnified photo of a fountain pen nib. The nib appears to be steel with an engraved curlicue designs around the edge of the nib. The focus is on the point at the tip of the nib, which is very thin and pointy. It appears to be well-aligned from this angle. There is some writing with purple ink in the background but it is blurry and not intended to be read.
