Still working out the finer points here but the tripod holds the phone pretty well. Now the problem is the way I have to place it is either blocking my arm or the light source. Plus some focus issues. But I can probably work through all that with time and practice.
Here's a quick video. Had to crop it a bit so it ended up a tad blurry, but it should be familiar by the end.
