Next I'm going to clean out my Jinhao sharks, about half are dried out but lasted a long time. Some of the ones that still have ink and work perfectly have been inked since February but the ink is getting low.

A couple that dried out had some crud on the nibs, nib creep while evaporating. I suspect those will end up being heavily clogged. See the attached pic for one example (Endless Alchemy Mystic Forest).

Nib creep is kinda gross.

Photo of a fountain pen nib with globs of dried ink coming out of the feed behind the nib.

A little math here, 9 current empty pens + 12 pack of sharks I'm going to clean = 21 pens. In addition to those, I have two more I found that are nearly empty and could use a cleaning (Jinhao 82 and 9019), plus I have one on the way.

That makes 24 total I'll have ready for ... reasons.
