Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 9 is "Red Horizon", a medium dark red with a small amount of coppery(?) sheen. I had trouble discerning the sheen color.

The shade is great, but the ink behaved poorly. It took forever to dry on several papers. Over 10 minutes later it was still wet even using an EF nib, not just pools of ink.

If you want a similar but usable color, try Diamine Red Dragon.

Pen is a Jinhao 10 Press with an EF nib.

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 1 which is based on the James Webb space telescope. The ink on the card is medium dark red with some areas that are darker, and some very slight coppery sheen near the edges and some areas with lots of ink. Upper left is text reading "#9 Red Horizon" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Below the text are multiple stars and a galaxy outlined in ink. Upper right is a large illustration of the James Webb telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the lower left is a small illustration of the Hubble space telescope in scribbled ink. In the middle lower left is a blob of ink with some visible areas where it dried darker. In the middle right is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a fountain pen, a Jinhao 10 Press which is a shiny dark red.

From the top left, the papers are: - Maruman Mnemosyne - Clairefontaine Triomphe - Paperage Notebook - Iroful Notebook - Midori MD Notebook - Tomoe River S Kanso
Photo of ink on paper under magnification. Paper fibers are visible. Parts of two letters are visible. The ink is a medium dark red with small parts of the letters being darker, and some copper reflective sheen around the edges.
Photo of ink on paper under magnification. Paper fibers are visible. This is a blob of ink with the edge visible. The ink is a medium dark red with areas that are somewhat reflective and some areas dull. The reflective areas have some coppery-look to them. The dull areas look a little more brown-ish but still red.
