Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 21 is "Giant Sunspot", a bold red-orange with plenty of shading and some sheen. I can't tell if the sheen is red or silver but it's mildly reflective either way.

It's another unique shade for me, I don't have any red-orange inks and it looks good on the page. It's a good balance of brightness, it's dark but still light enough for the color to be distinguishable.

Pen is a Jinhao 9019, EF nib

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 1 which is based on the James Webb space telescope. The ink on the card is red-orange. Less dense areas are more orange, shaded areas are more red and have a slight reflection from sheening. Upper left is text reading "#21 Giant Sunspot" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Below the text are multiple stars and a galaxy outlined in ink. Upper right is a large illustration of the James Webb telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the lower left is a small illustration of the Hubble space telescope in scribbled ink. In the middle lower left is a blob of ink with some visible areas where it dried darker and has reddish sheen. There are lines of darker ink in the center. In the middle right is a blob of scribbled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a Jinhao 9109 fountain pen with a clear cap and body and gold accents.

Photo of ink blob under magnification. Paper fibers are visible. Overall the ink is red-orange. Some lighter areas are more orange, some darker areas are more red and have small flecks of light reflecting.

Nothing terribly surprising in the videos but it looks pretty good.
