Aftermath of just the first of many rounds of pen cleanings I have ahead of me.
These are ones I intend to refill tomorrow, though. 4/5 were ones I emptied through use (VP, Phantom, Kakuno, Penmanship).
The WS 699 dried out from what I thought was a leak, but seems more like I didn't have it fully twisted tight at the section. It filled fine with water and didn't leak. I am going to put some silicone grease around the threads and try it again.

This was the first time I'd used one of those little converter-attached syringes for cleaning and it did great for shooting water inside the CON-70 to clean out behind its plunger. Seems like it will be also be good for filling pens/converters. Much easier to use than a full-size blunt tip syringe and easier to clean. A five pack of them (Asvine branded) was $7.50 on Amazon, looks like about $3-4 on Aliexpress.
I was going to put the WingSung 699 back together but decided to look closer and found a crack in the threads on the barrel (where the section connects on the inside and the cap threads on the outside).
So it was leaking.
That's now a WingSung 699 and 698 I've had crack and fail on me.
For those keeping track, I've had zero TWSBIs crack, and zero "low quality" WingSung 3008 pens crack, just the "high quality" 6xx series have cracked.
My bad luck seems to be the exact reverse of others'.
