I need to remember not to use sheening inks in these or be more proactive about using and cleaning before they dry out. The Hero 1086 (far left, had Pulsar Pulse) and Vazir Meteor Shower (far right, had Kilonova) both were so clogged I couldn't flush them before soaking/ultrasonic.

The Hongdian 1843 Voyager had pigment ink, so no surprise it's stained, but it wasn't hard to clean. I may put a Diamine Forever ink in it. The Hongdian C1 wasn't bad either. These two seal very well.

Photo of four disassembled fountain pens arranged in a line with the top of each piece aligned. Each pen is separated into four parts: Nib+Section, converter, body, cap. From left to right they are: - Hero 1086 adjustable flex nib pen, black with gold accents - Hongdian 1843 Voyager, blue and silver, the converter is stained blue. - Hongdian C1 hooded nib in blue - Vazir Meteor Shower in blue
