Ink Swatch - Dominant Industry - Standard - Tsavorite

Dominant Industry Tsavorite is a light, almost mint green ink, like its namesake mineral, but it’s dark enough to be usable.

Scans

There is just a little bit of shading in the writing, a some is a tad darker than usual and some is much lighter.

Photos

The large swatches show some of the red sheen, primarily on Iroful and MD. On col-o-ring there is only a small amount at the edge.

The sheen doesn’t show up at all in the writing, however. The shading shows up a bit on the tips of some letters and can be very pale.

Microscope

As with the photos, the only sign of the sheen is in the larger swatch if at all.

Again the parts of the swatch and lines that are lighter than usual are quite pale.

Chromatography

The chromatography starts very pale light green, then fades into small bands of yellow and cyan.

The narrow bands at the end glow blue under UV, but it didn’t result in any noticeable glow on the swatches.

Verdict

Despite being a lighter green color, it’s a very legible and pleasant tint. I haven’t used it a lot yet, but I have used it in a TWSBI Diamond 580ALR for about two months and it’s worked well so far.
