Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 2 is "Edge of Night", a blue-gray color that is on the lighter side. It shades decently on most papers, some end up much darker than others. I like it, though it's a bit more pale than I'd prefer in the areas with less ink.

Surprisingly this was better for me in EF than a stub since it seemed to stay darker that way instead of shading as much. I expected the opposite.

Last two photos are under microscope to show the differences in saturation.

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 2 which is based on the Hubble space telescope. The ink on the card is a blue-gray color that is light in shade, with some areas darker where ink has pooled. Upper left is text reading "#2 Edge of Night" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Just to the right side of the middle at the top is a large illustration of the Hubble space telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle right side is text "Hubble Space Telescope NASA" in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle left is text reading "You are 336.2mi from Earth" in negative space among ink scribbles. In the middle lower left is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Near the center are "Mars" and "Uranus" with circles representing those planets, in more ink. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024".
Collage of six photos of text on paper. Each photo consists of: - "Edge of Night" written with an EF nib - "Edge of Night" written with a stub nib - A swirl of ink made with a glass dip pen Each photo is zoomed in on a different portion of the text. From the top left, the papers are: - Maruman Mnemosyne - Clairefontaine Triomphe - Paperage Notebook - Tomoe River S Kanso - Iroful Notebook - Midori MD Notebook
Photo of writing with ink under microscope. Paper fibers are visible, colored by blue-gray ink. Some areas are significantly darker than others where more ink has pooled.
Photo of an ink blob under microscope. Paper fibers are visible, colored by dark blue-gray ink. There is a small hint of purple and perhaps a tiny amount of sheen near the edge.

Oops forgot to include the pen I put the ink in.

Laying across the card is an Osprey Madison fountain pen, it is clear/transparent plastic with silver accents. Blue ink is visible in the section and body.
