Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 4 is "Sailing Stones", a light brown/tan color.

This is the first actual brown ink I've tried and it's pretty nice. It came out darker for me than some swatches I've seen, which is good. Ink seems to behave well. On certain papers it shades a bit (check the alt text on the collage image to see which paper is which).

Nothing too surprising under magnification.

Realized I had been forgetting the pens!

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 2 which is based on the Hubble space telescope. The ink on the card is a light brown/tan color, with some areas darker where ink has pooled. Upper left is text reading "#4 Sailing Stones" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Just to the right side of the middle at the top is a large illustration of the Hubble space telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle right side is text "Hubble Space Telescope NASA" in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle left is text reading "You are 336.2mi from Earth" in negative space among ink scribbles. In the middle lower left is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Near the center are "Mars" and "Uranus" with circles representing those planets, in more ink. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a white Jinhao Shark fountain pen with a clear section. The cap of the pen is shaped like the front of a shark, with a mouth, eyes, and a fin.
