Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 18 is "Morning Glow", a multi-shading gray. The (*heavy*) shading can be gray, pink, brown, blue, and even green. I even saw a few stray shimmer particles.

Looks great but was a bit on the wet side. Seems to be OK in a pen but still very wet.

Pen is a Jinhao Shark (White) EF nib.

EDIT: I had misremembered this one as being super watery but that was a different day.

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 2 which is based on the Hubble space telescope. The ink on the card is a light gray with some darker areas were more ink settled on the paper. Those darker areas vary in color but most have a pinkish or brownish tone. Upper left is text reading "#18 Morning Glow" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Just to the left side of the middle at the top is a large illustration of the Hubble space telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle right side is text "Hubble Space Telescope NASA" in negative space among scribbled ink. In the middle left is text reading "You are 336.2mi from Earth" in negative space among ink scribbles. In the middle lower left is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Near the center are "Mars" and "Uranus" with circles representing those planets, in more swabbed ink. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a white Jinhao Shark fountain pen with a white section. The cap of the pen is shaped like the front of a shark, with a mouth, eyes, and a fin.
Collage of six photos of text on paper. Each photo consists of: - "Morning Glow" written with an EF nib - "Morning Glow" written with a stub nib - A swirl of ink made with a glass dip pen The ink color is the same for all, gray with some much darker areas were more ink settled on the paper. On some areas the shading appears to have a reddish tint, others are bluish, some are brown. From the top left, the papers are: - Maruman Mnemosyne - Clairefontaine Triomphe - Paperage Notebook - Iroful Notebook - Midori MD Notebook - Tomoe River S Kanso
Photo of ink writing on paper under magnification. Paper fibers are visible. The ink is gray with some areas very light, and others darker. Around the edges of the dark areas it appears more brown. In the center of the darker area is appears more pinkish.
Photo of ink blob on paper under magnification. Paper fibers are visible. The ink is gray with some areas very light, and others darker. Around the edges of the dark areas it appears more brown. In the center of the darker area is appears more pinkish. Near the boundary of the dark area it appears blue.

Since it's a multi-shader/chromashader/multichrome ink, this one looks very interesting as it dries. Watch the ink colors separate as it collects and dries in various ways.
