Why is it that all letter openers seem to fall into the following categories:
- Stabby thing that’s oddly both too dull to be effective and too sharp to leave laying around.
- Razor blade in plastic that dulls if you look at it wrong and then rips things to shreds
- Gadget/Gizmo that looks cool but doesn’t work on most actual envelopes.
(Not counting pocket knives/box cutters)
I have all of these within reach and they are all crap, so I end up just opening things by hand.
