Nearly done with Secret Santa!

Made a bunch of samples, wrapped all the gifts, and labeled it all. Now I need to find a suitable box, packing material, and write a note.

My giftee didn't say they were on Mastodon, so probably safe to post things, but I may put spoiler tags on easier to read photos. If you're outside the US, it's definitely not you!

Used my new label maker to make nice labels for the sample vials and the pipettor made short work of moving the ink as usual.

Photo of a row of sample vials, a bottle of fountain pen ink, a sample vial in a clamp stand, and a pippetor dialed to 1ml. There is a printed label next to the clamp.

Me being me, I felt compelled to find a reason to use my fluorescent and invisible inks.

My giftee said they really liked purple.

The first gift is a small but properly filtered UV flashlight, my note will explain how/why to use it!

Photo of 10 wrapped gifts on a craft mat. They are all wrapped in lavender/purple paper. Each has a numbered label on top, from 1 to 10. There is a suspiciously large amount of empty space on each label. Curious. Below the wrapped gifts are two bags, one has chocolate candies, the other has sunflower kernels.
The same photo as the first, but under UV light. In the empty area of each label is a glowing hidden message with a doodle of the gift and a message.

On each label I made a little doodle and wrote what was inside just for fun. They can choose to look with the light for a sneak peek or just open first and look later.

Two photo collage of a label from the previous post. On the left all you can see is "3" and a lot of empty area. On the right the "3" is glowing green, and in glowing blue ink is "Bookaroo", a doodle of a notebook, and "It has pockets!" with an arrow pointing to the cover.
