Checking in on my long-term fountain pen sealing experiments

Figured it was a good time to check in on my long-term fountain pen sealing experiments:

Leading off with the best:

• TWSBI D580: Inked Jan 11, 2024, still has ink and writes perfectly. Deliberately used infrequently to test the seal.
• TWSBI ECO: Inked Apr 17, 2024, still inked & perfect.
• Hongdian N7 (Gray Rabbit) Inked Mar 7, 2024. Still has ink and writes well.
• Asvine V126 inked Apr 12, 2024, still has some ink in the chamber, can write with some work after opening the blind.

Now the next tier, still great but didn’t quite make the 2-year mark.

These all had a little ink and wrote last I checked them but it’s been at least a month since I tested:

• WingSung 3008 (x4), inked Feb 13, 2024
• Platinum Preppy, inked Feb 28, 2024
• Platinum Plaisir, inked Jan 31, 2024
• Hongdian C1, inked Feb 21, 2024

So they all made it at least 1.5 years, probably closer to 1.75yrs.
