It’s not a perfect “matchy-matchy” choice but I had not used this ink yet, so figured it was worth it to try Wearingeul Peter Pan and Wendy/Captain Hook in the new TWSBI. Looks pretty good. It’s hard to tell from the writing sample photo, but there is some pleasant shading going on and maybe a tiny hint of greenish sheen.

Photo of a TWSBI fountain pen (Fluorite Purple with Bronze) next to a fountain pen ink bottle and its box, and all of that is next to a writing sample. The ink is a dark red with some even darker shading. The writing sample reads: "TWSBI ECO / Fluorite Purple with Bronze / Wearingeul / Peter Pan and Wendy / Captain Hook." The ink bottle has a lenticular label and shows both "Captain Hook" in text and an image of the captain.

The label on the bottle is a lenticular print that changes from the ink name to a drawing of Captain Hook. It’s pretty neat. None of the other Wearingeul bottles I have are like that. Or any other brand for that matter.

Trying out a new scanner and it looks pretty good. Easier to see the shading this way. Not sure I’ll use it for everything, though, as there is no way it would capture sheen, chameleon shimmer, fluorescence, and so on.

Scan of a writing sample on paper reading "Wearingeul / Peter Pan + Wendy / Captain Hook" in dark red ink with even darker red shading.
