Colorverse Colorvent 2024 Day 14 is "Pulsar Pulse", which is turquoise with dark magenta shading and heavy pink sheen.

You'd think they'd run out of good ways to combine blue, purplish shading, & reddish sheen but this one manages to be somewhat different than Days 6 & 13. The blue base is lighter, the shading is more red, and the sheen is a different color and much heavier.

Photo of a "Colorverse Colorspace Size C" swatch card, type 2 which is based on the Hubble space telescope. The ink on the card is a turquoise with dark magenta shading and heavy pink sheen in areas where ink has pooled. Upper left is text reading "#14 Pulsar Pulse" written in an EF nib and then a stub nib. Just to the left side of the middle at the top is a large illustration of the Hubble space telescope in negative space among swabbed ink. In the middle right side is text "Hubble Space Telescope NASA" in negative space among scribbled ink. In the middle left is text reading "You are 336.2mi from Earth" in negative space among ink scribbles. In the middle lower left is a blob of swirled ink drawn by a glass dip pen. Near the center are "Mars" and "Uranus" with circles representing those planets, in more swabbed ink. Lower right is text "Colorvent 2024". Laying across the card is a Hero 1086 fountain pen which is black with gold trim.
Collage of six photos of text on paper. Each photo consists of: - "Pulsar Pulse" written with an EF nib - "Pulsar Pulse" written with a stub nib - A swirl of ink made with a glass dip pen The ink color is the same for all, a turquoise with dark magenta shading and heavy pink sheen in areas where ink has pooled. From the top left, the papers are: - Maruman Mnemosyne - Clairefontaine Triomphe - Paperage Notebook - Iroful Notebook - Midori MD Notebook - Tomoe River S Kanso

Here are some videos of it drying, plus a bonus photo that shows the underlying base color better.

There are a lot of blue base + red sheen inks around, so it's not exactly a standout, but this sheens heavier than most (but still less than Endless Alchemy Candy Sea), and has a much lighter base color.

Forgot to post this yesterday. This is a writing sample from a Hero 1086 pen with an adjustable pressure flex nib. The ink is Pulsar Pulse which is why I held it back until this day's post.

The adjustable part doesn't change how much the nib flexes, only the amount of pressure required to make it flex. As you twist the ring at the end of the section, the metal plate over the nib extends or retracts.
