It's "I'm ordering something else from AliExpress, so why not add on a pen since I haven't bought any in a while..." day.

Hopefully this Jinhao 10 seals better than my last one. Maybe I'll win the (lack of) QC lottery this time. Looks fantastic, though, and is a very fitting match for the ink.

Photo of a capless fountain pen and a writing sample. The pen is a Jinhao 10 Press. The body of the pen is a gradient from light brown to dark brown. The tip, clip, and band around the middle are golden. The writing sample reads "Jinhao 10 Coffee Gradient" and "KWZ Smells Like Coffee" followed by a little doodle of a cup of coffee. The ink is a medium brown shade.

Update on this Jinhao 10 (coffee gradient): It seals just as poorly as my previous Jinhao 10. After a day or two it hard starts. After several days I have to wet the nib to get it going again. There is still ink in the converter at least, but probably not for long.

So if you will be using it constantly it's probably fine, just not one you can take your eyes off, or it'll dry out.
