Ink Swatch - Papier Plume - Forget-me-not Blue

Papier Plume Forget-me-not Blue is a bright blue ink with a little shading. There is a hint of red sheen, but not a lot.

A little shading on Iroful, but not a ton. Even less on MD, practically none on Col-o-ring.

Photos

There is a little red sheen around the edge of the large swatch on Col-o-ring, a tiny bit on Iroful as well. There is much more in the large swatch on MD.

No sign of sheen in the writing on Col-o-ring or Iroful. There seems to be just a tiny bit around the edges of lines on MD, but not much.

Microscope

Similar results here as the photos. Iroful looks a little “splotchy” in some parts but that seems to be part of the shading.

Chromatography

It starts with a little light lavender, then a large empty area, then a narrow band of cyan.

There is some blue glow from and just past the cyan band, but nothing in the swatches.

Verdict

This ink looks great and has treated me well. I’ve been using this regularly over the last six months in an Endless Phantom pen with an EF nib and I’ve had no problems whatsoever over 5 fills. It’s a wonderful and bold true blue.
